One of my favorite and funniest writer/blogger friend, John Howell, has a new cover. I love it!

The cover is new and the book edited once again to enhance the experience. What is really nice is the price has been cut for the introduction. You can buy the kindle version for a special introduction price of

$0.99

Here’s the blurb.

John J. Cannon successful San Francisco lawyer takes a well-deserved leave of absence from the firm and buys a boat he names My GRL. He is unaware that his newly purchased boat had already been targeted by a terrorist group. John’s first inkling of a problem is when he wakes up in the hospital where he learns he was found unconscious next to the dead body of the young woman who sold him the boat in the first place. John now stands between the terrorists and the success of their mission.

  1. A great new cover – very eye-catching! The girl on the front has such a haunted look and the dramatic sunset colours in the background are both beautiful and threatening. I’m in the mood for a thriller so have bought this now. Many thanks for the special offer price, John and I will happily write a review on amazon uk. Wishing you a lovely weekend, Jill! 😀♥️

  14. Thanks for highlighting John’s new book cover, Jill, and John, thanks for offering your book at .99 cents. I’m off to get it on my Kindle. I have heard that re-placing covers on a book is a great way to promote it and give it a new life. You’ll have to tell us if the intention works. I’m considering doing the same.

Jill, I had a difficult time deciding which format to buy your book – for the Kindle or as a paperback. I ended up getting the e-book for my ‘aging eyes,’ as you state above. So excited for you!!

    • My pleasure, Pam. Isn’t John’s new cover great? I would guess that he’s definitely noticed a spike in sales, but he’ll have to answer that question. Are you considering doing a new cover for THE RIGHT WRONG MAN? That was such a great book! Thanks so much for purchasing my book, Pam. I appreciate it! You made a wise choice with the Kindle version. I love to make the font extra large. 🙂

  17. Good luck, John! 🙂 🙂 I used to write out carefully all of my blogging friends book’s titles, out of over thirty submitted to library acquisition committee I had Christoph’s book full of real history and a trio of friends purchased. Only one! 😦
I live a simple life but love to read, return book and preserve space in my apt for grandchildren. Ha ha!
I am starting slowly to “give in” and purchase books to hold in my hands! Many cost twice what the price would be if in a store; due to Amazon and shipping costs. I own Jill’s, Diana’s, Luanne’s and 2 of Shehanne’s. . . You will be on my list to purchase next time I have a nice overtime paycheck! Sincerely, Robin
